1st day – Marrakech
Greeting at the airport and transfer to hotel. Dinner and night.
2nd day – Marrakech
Full day dedicated to the visit of Marrakech, the ancient imperial city founded in 1062. You will discover the majestic silhouette of the Koutoubia towering above the red houses, the Saadi tombs, then visit the Bahia palace, seat of the Grand Vizir Ba Ahmed dating back to the end of the 19th century. Lunch. We continue the visit: Djemaa el Fna Square, the beating heart of Marrakech, the dyers and leather workers district via the spice sellers’ district. Dinner and night in hotel.
3rd day – Marrakech – Ouarzazate (200 km)
After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate, the door of the Great South, across the mountainous chain of the High Atlas through the Tizin-Tichka, pass, the highest of the country (2260 m high). Berber lunch in Ouarzazate. Afternoon, an orientation tour of the city. Dinner and night.
4th day – Ouarzazate – Tinerhir – Ouarzazate (350 km)
After breakfast, departure for Tinerhir through the Dades valley, named the ìroute of the thousand Kasbahsî. Visit of the Todra Gorges, a natural site surmounted by high rocky cliffs. Many films were produced here. Lunch and return to Ouarzazate. Dinner and night.
5th day – Ouarzazate – Zagora – Ouarzazate (395 km)
After breakfast, departure for Zagora through the Draa valley (fortified villages and oases) which includes one of the largest palm groves of the South of Morocco. Berber lunch in the Zagora palm grove. We continue towards the Tinfou dunes, then return to Ouarzazate. Dinner and night.
6th day – Ouarzazate et les Kasbahs (90 km)
Departure for a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt, we continue on to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, where many movies have been filmed. Return to Ouarzazate for lunch. Afternoon, departure for the Kasbah of Tiffoultout and photo taking stop. Dinner and night.
7th day – Ouarzazate – Marrakech (200 km)
Departure for Marrakech through the Tizin-Tichka pass, which remains snow-capped during most part of the year. Hotel check in and lunch. Afternoon, visit of Marrakech: the Menara gardens, the city walls tower and the palm grove. Dinner and night.
8th day – Marrakech
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight back home.
